Solid Angle releases MtoA 220.127.116.11
Solid Angle has released Maya to Arnold version 18.104.22.168
New features include:
Faster ray tracing of curves and volumes.
Opacity controls added to the Skin Shader.
Cache Interpolated Motion Blur for nParticles.
Subdivision soft creases support. MtoA will take into account the Maya edge and vertex creases and apply them to the rendertime subdivision cage.
You can now tell MtoA to export the base mesh cage to Arnold instead of the subdivided one by disabling the Smooth Mesh Preview checkbox and get faster translation time.
The autobump detail enhancement now works for procedurally displaced polymeshes even when there are no UV texture coordinates.
Improved XGen rendertime performance with curves in emitter geometry with many faces.
